The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd consolidated sales up 3.87% on year in Q2FY2026 As on : 06-Aug-26  20:28

The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd share price inched up 3.49% to Rs 589.85 after the company's net profit tumbled by 41.31% to Rs 4.76 crore, while revenue from operations improved marginally 3.87% to Rs 232.34 crore in Q2FY26 over Q1FY26. The market capitalization of Auto Components & Equipments industry group stocks on BSE stood at Rs 11.11 lakh crore, rising 5.53%. It has improved by 4.66% over last one week and rose by 12.05% in last one month while the market capitalization of The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd has marginally improved by 2.72% and 6.24% in the same period respectively. Profit before tax (PBT) of The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd stood at Rs 6.39 crore in Q2 FY26, tanking 39.20% year-on-year, and crashing by 36.42% quarter-on-quarter. EBITDA came in at Rs 25 crore, surging by 16.15% YoY and expanding by 20.50% sequentially. Total expenses saw a slight increase of 4.24% to Rs 228.67 crore in Q2FY26 over Q2FY25. During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 110.71 crore, inching up 0.34% YoY, while employee benefits expense was at Rs 46.09 crore, easing 3.90% YoY. For the TTM ended FY26, revenue from operations contracted by 16.33% to Rs 906.81 crore, while net profit saw a marginal increase of 8.35% to Rs 40.36 crore, compared to previous TTM. EBITDA surged by 14131% to Rs 124.17 crore, and PBT saw a minor gain of 3.02% to Rs 62.77 crore compared to previous TTM. The company's consolidated net cash flow from operating activities stood at Rs 149.04 crore in FY26, as against Rs 117.45 crore in FY25. The Hi-Tech Gears Ltd plunged by 15.14% in last one year, underperforming the benchmark BSE Sensex which has softened by 2.64% during the same period.
